The Harwood

The Harwood is a two-storey, three-bedroom detached house in a Georgian style. Ideal for families and especially those down-sizing, these attractive houses are designed on a manageable footprint without compromise to the specification.

A formal hallway opens onto a lovely ‘L’-shaped kitchen with breakfast bar and adjoining dining room area. The kitchen is a deluxe version of the ‘Belsay’ Shaker-style furniture, in timeless shades of Porcelain, Dove Grey or Reed Green with pale quartz work surfaces and glass splash-backs to enhance the feeling of space and light. A double-oven, integrated dishwasher and ‘insinkerator’ are all included and we have specified deep drawers in preference to cupboards where possible.

Across the hall, the sitting-room also benefits from high ceilings and generous proportions. This is a beautiful room in which to entertain friends and family whilst still accommodating space for an office, or other recreational pursuits, around the bay window. At the opposite end, double doors open out onto the ample rear garden.

A smart WC and a dedicated utility room with stand-alone washing-machine and tumble-dryer complete the ground floor amenities. Oak engineered-plank flooring changes to a pale ecru carpet as you proceed upstairs. Underfloor heating has been installed throughout the house, including all bathrooms, to avoid unnecessary radiators.
